Polina has 10 years of practice teaching art in Polimoda and enjoys creating an inspiring atmosphere for everyone regardless your path within art and spirituality. Creativity is an innate human ability, a gift, and we are going to celebrate it. 

The inspiration behind Alchemist painting lies in a deep fascination with hylozoism: philosophical idea of matter having a soul.

This specific way of painting is developed by Polina to allow watercolour and ink work together with gravity: dropping, travelling around the canvas. Abstract dialogue of shapes and colours evokes symbolic interpretation similar to the one of dream analysis. In this context the viewer is invited to become a part of the creative process, giving a personal meaning to the artwork. 

Polina draws inspiration from ancient folklore and its rich symbolism. Similarly to an Alchemist or a Priestess, she seeks to transform matter into a powerful and charged object.
