THE RITUAL
Get meditative and channel your creative energy in a zen oasis in Tuscany. After a performance and demonstration of the alchemist painting technique, I will guide you throughout the creation process of your own abstract painting. Each of the participants will receive a kit that will include natural resin based inks, pieces of pure cotton paper, and other essentials to create your own artworks. As an outcome of this workshop, everyone will create abstract paintings that you will be able to take with you.
THE UNIVERSAL PATTERN
30th of March is a very special date for the ones who are curious about the astrological patterns. On this day, the planet of dreams and intuition, Neptune enters Aries for the first time since 17th century. Aries is an alpha of the Zodiac, a leading sign that starts the solar cycle of the year. Neptune brings the opportunity to reconnect to the beginning, to the source, to replenish the energy and start a new cycle.
The alchemist ritual will be dedicated to the evolution of creative energy: from imagination to materialising it, and from personal to the universal.
THE COLOR PALETTE:
The alchemist workshop on the 30th of March will be focused on the neutrals paired with the blues and golden accents, following the Aries - Neptune due.
THE INSPIRATION:
Alchemist painting is an experience, a philosophy, and a technique.
This practice that allows you to experience the letting go: of the pre-determined result, the sense of time, and escape the creative constraints. Similar to art therapy, alchemist painting reconnects you with intuitive sense of self.
GETTING THERE:
The workshop start at 14:30. It is 30 min by car from Florence centre, or 30 min by train from Firenze SMN to Montale, we suggest a train at 13:37. We will meet you up at the Montale station, and accompany you to the Villa.
WE WELCOME EVERYONE:
The Painting ritual workshop welcomes everyone: the curious, the beginners, the skilled ones, and the professionals. Polina has more than 10 years of practice teaching art in Polimoda and enjoys creating an inspiring atmosphere for everyone regardless your path within art and spirituality. Creativity is an innate human ability, a gift, and we are going to celebrate it.
BOTANICAL COCKTAILS & SEASONAL SNACKS:
We will conclude our workshop with botanical cocktails & some seasonal snacks from the local farmers market.

All levels are welcomed - no previous knowledge of painting is necessary
There is plenty of free parking outside of the Villa
Montale-Agliana train station is a 10min walk from the Villa, but we can pick you up if you send us in advance your expected time of arrival

What is the cancellation policy?
We are a small business so every reservation means a lot to us as we put a lot of care and love into organising everything.
For this reason, we do not accept cancellations. However, the participation can be transferred to another person or use for future rituals.
In case of force majeure or if the minimum of person required is not met where the event must be cancelled, we will fully refund the total amount and the deposit paid by the guests.
